LONDON DESIGN FESTIVAL 2018


We showcased at London Design Festival! Kukka took part in the exhibition Colour Via at Surface Matter; an explorative exhibition which showcases innovative approaches to colouring materials in a post-industrial world.

PANTONE COLOUR TRENDS S/S 2019


Each season the team at the Pantone Color Institute creates the Pantone Fashion Color Trend Report; a colour overview highlighting the top fashion colours for the upcoming season. The catwalk is a key indicator of the colours we can expect to see showing up across all areas of design.

A CIRCULAR OUTFIT FOR LOUISE FRESCO


On the occasion of the centennial celebrations of Wageningen University and Research (WUR) we were commissioned to design a piece for the circular ensemble of WUR’s chairman Louise O. Fresco.

While we're still in the middle of summer and I'm already working on collections for S/S 2019, the colour and fabric trends for A/W 2019-2020 are now presented for intimate apparel.

STATE OF FASHION


A week ago the new exhibition State of Fashion; Searching for the New Luxury opened in Arnhem. The exhibition and accompanying events are entirely dedicated to a more sustainable and fair fashion system. State of Fashion is the successor to Arnhem Fashion Biennial. I'm very happy to be part of it with my work Living Colour!

GLOBAL CHANGE AWARD 2018 WINNERS


The annual Global Change Award is one of the world’s leading challenges for early stage innovation, and the largest initiative of its kind in the fashion industry. The award, initiated by the H&M Foundation in 2015, is given to game changing ideas that can make the entire fashion industry circular and help protect our planet and living conditions. With this year´s 2,600 entries from 151 countries it’s clear there’s no shortage of ideas out there. Interestingly, most solutions are coming from innovators outside of the fashion industry.
