KUKKA AT DEZEEN'S FIRST VIRTUAL DESIGN FESTIVAL

Virtual Design Festival is the world's first online design festival, taking place from 15 April to 30 June 2020. With much of the world in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the global architecture and design community is facing unprecedented challenges. Virtual Design Festival is a platform exploring alternative ways of sharing design, helping others, coming together as a global community and doing business.


With Milan Design Week 2020 first postponed and then cancelled, many designers and brands found themselves wihout a stage to present their months of hard work, including us. This would have been our first presentation at Ventura Centrale and visit to Milan Design Week. With a year of preparation leading up to the event, disappointment is of course an understatement. During this lockdown we probably all miss tangible experiences, but it also challenges us to present our work and connect in a way we haven't before.

That is why Ventura Projects collaborates with media partner Dezeen to present a selection of 81 international designers, academies and brands at Virtual Design Festival, premiering on 29 April 2020. See work from all the VDF x Ventura Projects participants at dezeen.com/vdf/ventura-projects.

OUR COLLABORATION WITH PUMA INNOVATION

PUMA x Living Colour by Laura Luchtman (Kukka) and Ilfa Siebenhaar

We are introducing our latest collaboration with PUMA Innovation, a preview of the very first Living Colour collection we designed and dyed by using bacteria. We hope the collection sparks a shift in how sportswear is made, and in turn help lead the way to a zero-waste future. The full collection will be launched in June during the virtual Fuorisalone.
